  • We have four forms that we require. Please print them and complete them prior to your appointment:

  • The Boulder practice has zero VOC paint and air purifiers to remove dust, pollen, bacteria, VOC and molds to keep the office natural, healthy, crisp and clean. Please support a smell-sensitive environment with limited to no colognes or perfumes for your appointment.

    The clinic has a full in-house Chinese herbal pharmacy that can provide a custom blend to tailor each patients needs. These can be use for pain, digestive issues, sleep, menstrual disorders and nearly anything else acupuncture can address. They are very easy to use and travel with. We currently do not sell to the public. The herbal apothecary patches, teas and formulas are for patients only.

    We are located on the north side of Valmont at 2955 Valmont Road on the 1st floor suite #100.

    Enter through the door left of the main entrance in the parking lot.

  • Current office procedures are as follows:

    *Masks for patients are no longer mandatory. The provider will keep one as the office does see immunocompromised patients.

    *The office has a powerful air filter running for clean air.

    *We try to maintain a healthy environment and be sensitive to those with smell/chemical sensitivities. Please refrain from wearing perfume/scents the day of your visit.

  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

    HSA/FSA credit cards are accepted.

    Payment is due upon treatment.

    We are not in-network with insurance and we provide insurance superbills for any reimbursement your plan allows which has our provider number, coding and other relevant information for your insurance reimbursement. If you have out-of-network coverage for acupuncture, this is how you can get your insurance to cover your visit and it works really well. You are responsible with verifying coverage with your insurance.

    Veterans: We are a VA TriWest Colorado approved provider. Your visits are paid through and by the VA network.

  • In-Office Options:

    New Patient Acupuncture 1-1.5 hours= $185.00 *˚

    Follow-Up Visits 45-60 minutes= $115*˚

    Remote Options:

    Integrative Tele-Coaching/concierge (also great for lab reviews) up to 60 minutes= $150.00/$25 each add’l 15 mins.˚

    *includes cupping, moxa or other adjunct therapies the provider deems beneficial.

  • We provide gift certificates for that special person in your life who’s been keeping you up at night with the flu or chronically complaining about what hurts them.

    Relieve yourself by gifting them some relief! Pick up the certificate or we can mail them for you.

  • It is a good idea to eat something before your appointment. The work is subtle, but powerful, so it’s in your favor to not be hungry.

    An insider tip will suggest you don’t brush your tongue a for couple of days before you see your acupuncturist! It helps us read what’s going on in your organ system.

    Most points used are on the arms and legs, so loose fitting pants or shirts are optimal to hike up above the knee/elbow however draping and gowns are available just as they are for massage appointments. There’s a table warmer, blankets, and a heat lamp that keep everyone warm, cozy, and comfortable. For most people the hardest part is getting up to leave their acupuncture appointment because it’s so relaxing.

    Superbills can be provided to you for health insurance reimbursement and HSA’s.

    Check your plan as almost all major insurance companies now honor acupuncture.

  • Out of respect for the time the clinic carves out for you, please be aware that cancellations occurring within 48 hours of appointments may result in a missed fee of $70. If within 24 hours, the full visit fee will be charged.

    For repeat cancellations, missed visits, and/or rescheduling the clinic reserves the right to terminate any future treatments.

    Because the clinic reserves at least one hour for each patient, if lateness is 20 minutes or more, it is considered a missed visit.
